Voice-first logging
Talk for about 90 seconds after class. TOMO transcribes it with a vocabulary tuned for jiu-jitsu and turns it into a structured session: techniques, rounds, submissions, injuries and notes. Every field is editable before you save, and typing is always there as a fallback.
Weekly debriefs
Every week, TOMO writes you a debrief that cites your actual sessions: the positions you keep ending up in, what you've been working, where you're stalling, and what to focus on next. It reads in the tone that fits your belt.
See the holes in your game
TOMO watches the patterns across everything you log, from class, sparring and open mat, and says them plainly: "caught in armbars three weeks running." The thing you cannot see from inside your own training becomes obvious, and you have something specific to bring to your coach.
Built around your belt
Defaults, wording, and insights fit your belt, your age, and your goals. A white-belt plateau and a purple-belt plateau are different problems, and TOMO treats them that way.
A study library that targets your gaps
650+ checked technique videos filed by position. Each week TOMO picks the ones that aim at the gaps in your own logs, with a note on why each made the cut. Browse by position, search by instructor, save what you want to come back to. Everything plays inside the app. No dead links, no rabbit holes.
A searchable journal, with the audio
Search every session by technique, instructor or note. Filter gi and no-gi. Replay the original voice recording from any session. Your training memory, finally legible.
Ask a follow-up
Each weekly debrief takes questions. Ask "why does that keep happening?" or "what should I drill first?" and the answer is grounded in the sessions you logged, not the internet.
Logs in the parking lot, even without signal
The session saves on your phone first. If the upload fails, TOMO retries when you are back on a connection, so a dead spot outside the gym never costs you a log.
Private by default
Your training is yours. Nobody else at the gym sees your sessions, notes or stats, including your training partners and your instructor. Recordings are deleted as soon as they are transcribed, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the Profile tab.
Built to be usable by everyone
Full VoiceOver support throughout, so the app works for grapplers who rely on a screen reader.
