Where it fits

Coaches teach you. Partners test you. TOMO ties it together.

Nothing stands in for a coach watching you roll, or a partner who tells you how your game ruins their life. TOMO works in the space between them. TOMO is a sparring partner, not a coach. It tells you what it sees in your log and leaves the teaching to your professor. It remembers what your coach showed you and the holes your sparring keeps finding, and lays them side by side so you can refine your game.

  1. Speak, don't type. Up to ninety seconds after class. You are wiped out, hands shaking, sweat everywhere, so talking is all it takes.
  2. Your voice becomes the log. Every recording is written up as a session: techniques, rounds, submissions landed and taken, injuries and notes. It is searchable months later, and the original audio stays with it.
  3. TOMO reads your game every week. Sunday, it looks across everything you have logged and tells you what is strong, what keeps catching you, and what to work on next. Ask it a follow-up and the answer comes from your own sessions.
  4. Then it picks the video for it. 650+ checked technique videos filed by position, and each week the few aimed at what needs work. No endless scroll that never gets absorbed.

This is the whole routine.

Three screens, in the order you meet them: talk after class, check what it heard, and find any session again months later.

Questions people ask.

What is TOMO?

TOMO is a voice-first training journal for Brazilian jiu-jitsu, on iPhone. You talk for up to ninety seconds after class and it writes the session: techniques, rounds, submissions landed and taken, injuries and notes. Every Sunday it reads your week back to you and says what keeps catching you.

Does TOMO replace my coach?

No. TOMO is a sparring partner, not a coach. It tells you what it sees in your log and leaves the teaching to your professor.

Does it work for no-gi?

Yes. Every session is marked gi or no-gi, and the journal filters either way.

Can anyone at my gym see my training?

No. Your sessions, notes and stats are yours. Nobody at your gym, including your instructor, has access. Recordings are deleted as soon as they are transcribed, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app.

What if I would rather type?

Typing is always there. The review screen takes typed entry, and every field stays editable before and after you save.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. TOMO runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or later.
