Six updates in five days. The app that captures your training now helps you study it — with 627 curated videos, picks that know why you're here, and a feed structured like a coach, not a playlist.
Your weekly feed is now structured into three distinct kinds of picks — not just "videos you might like." Fix Your Gap surfaces the position you keep getting caught in. Your Game reinforces your strongest positions with advanced chains and setups. Something New adds one short video from territory you've never logged. Every pick has a reason tied to your actual training log.
The Study tab went from 50 videos to 627 in one week — every position, every belt level, gi and nogi. There's now content for every gap you could find in your game.
A separate weekly card for the part of BJJ that keeps you in the sport. Mindset, longevity, and lifestyle content chosen for where you are right now — not just what you drilled.
Voice recording failed silently for several days. Fixed completely. Plus a manual fallback so you never lose a session even if audio doesn't process.
Every video now shows how long it is before you tap. See the whole week's content at a glance — "do I have 8 minutes or 40 right now?"
Study tab rebuilt with a 3-slot coaching model. Every pick now has a clear purpose and a reason tied to your training log. Duration on every card. Weekly progress tracker. 20–60 min budget enforced automatically.
"This week's focus" for positions you keep getting caught in. "Your game" for your strongest positions, leveled up. "Something new" — one short video from a position you've never logged.
Every video in the app now shows how long it is — pick cards, search results, and the position library. You can decide in one glance whether you have time right now.
"~35 min of curated film study · 5 videos" updates as you watch. Gold dots track where you are in the week after finishing a pick.
Videos in search results and the position library were missing duration. Fixed — every card now shows runtime regardless of where you find it.
The Study tab now knows who you are, not just what you drilled. A weekly lifestyle card surfaces content personalized to your age, belt, and how consistently you've been showing up.
Late starters get content on training through injury and recovery. Declining frequency triggers motivation content. Competitors get competition psychology. Everyone gets something different based on their actual situation.
Distinct purple visual treatment so you always know the difference between technique picks (gold) and mindset/lifestyle content (purple).
Voice recording fixed. All AI functions restored. And now, if voice doesn't process for any reason, TOMO keeps the form open so you can log manually and never lose a session.
Transcription was failing silently since April 21 due to a wrong parameter sent to the voice recognition service. Fixed end-to-end.
Monthly reviews, quarterly assessments, insight conversations, and video picks were all returning errors. All four now work correctly.
If voice or AI doesn't complete, TOMO shows a clear message and keeps the form fully editable. The Save button always works.
The Study tab's weekly picks are now personalized to your last 4 weeks of training. Not a random selection — an analysis of what you've drilled, where you've sparred, and what's missing from your game.
Picks scored across technique match, position gaps, offense-defense balance, lesson alignment, quality, video length, diversity, and past feedback. Each pick includes a personalized reason.
Thumbs up means "more like this." Thumbs down lets you say why. Your answer shapes future recommendations — not a dead end anymore.
Pick cards highlight the personalized reason text in a distinct block. Cleaner hierarchy, refined feedback flow.
The video library grew from 50 to 627 in a single day. Every position now has deep content across all belt levels. Plus a full UX polish pass — 48 fixes across every screen to make logging faster and less frustrating after training.
All 13 positions covered, white through black belt, gi and nogi tagged separately. 80 quick tips, 46 competition breakdowns, 33 chain videos, 27 concept videos. John Danaher, Gordon Ryan, Lachlan Giles, Marcelo Garcia, and 15+ more instructors.
Stop recording button larger during voice capture. Feedback buttons and skip controls easier to tap. All text meets 12px minimum. Accessibility labels added throughout.
Sessions logged late at night no longer show under tomorrow's date.
TOMO reads your login session from local storage instead of checking the server on every screen. Noticeably snappier on slower connections.
